Originating from coastal Croatia & planted in southern Italy around 1700. Very much the “Belle of the Ball”, this racy little debutante radiates an intense nose of vanilla, fig jam and blackberry raisins. The palate a ripe and lusty swinger with black cherry, cinnamon, fig and Mediterranean herbs, all silky smooth with velvety tannins - a thrilling wine, to be sure!
