2021 Chardonnay

La Famiglia - Stark Vineyard • Chehalem Mountains

Equal parts (clones 76 & 95) from Stark Vineyard, fermented in a 40/60 combination of French oak and stainless steel. Pale straw yellow in color, a vibrant tropical nose of Meyer lemon, honeydew and sweet pineapple. Rich and creamy on the palate with a sumptuous core of lemon curd, baked pears and a soothing blanket of butterscotch. Perfectly balanced with a tight ring of acidity, a hint of lemon oil viscosity and a long, complex finish. Pair with poached scallops, buttery lobster tails or oysters on the half shell!
