2018 Syrah

The bouquet unfurls from the glass with a joyous perfume of sweet tobacco, edgy black pepper, cedarwood, and meat roasted over super ripe blueberries. Its’ inky purple color, a prelude of its’ dark, full body richness. There’s a decidedly wild zestiness on the palate - all vibrant and energetic where the white pepper spiciness dances with black-raspberry and tart black cherries. Grippy tannins and a long vibrant finish begs for grilled meats or a saucy barbeque pairing.
